Meeting the housing needs of older and vulnerable people requires a joined up approach to deliver system efficiencies across housing, health and social care.

  • Every £1 spent adapting 100,000 homes could save the NHS £69.37 over 10 years
  • Every £1 spent improving 100,000 cold homes, could save the NHS £34.19 over 10 years
  • Every £1 spent on preventative services by social services, could save the NHS in emergency bed days £1.20

Meet experts from the Department of Health and the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services in the Linkway to make the connection between housing, health and care.

A pop in theatre for delegates with focused streams of policy, best practice and finance & asset management running on Tuesday afternoon, throughout Wednesday and on Thursday morning. Download the complete, detailed programme here.

Policy Stream

The Joseph Rowntree sessions will address the key challenges we are facing: climate change and zero carbon housing, new migrations and the potential to build shared perspectives, housing supply and planning, and the role that housing providers can play in combating poverty and social exclusion.

Finance and Asset Management Stream
